Karen O’Connell is a Certified Interior Decorator whose clients are located primarily in Oakville and Mississauga.

After a successful consulting career in the insurance industry, Karen decided to pursue her lifelong interest in design and architecture. Karen finished at the top of her class at Seneca College, receiving a certificate in Interior Decorating in November 1999. Karen is a member of the Canadian Decorators Association (CDECA).

In the fall of 2003, Karen and her cousin David opened Paintscapes, a Benjamin Moore dealership located in Clarkson.  As the Paintscapes design consultant, Karen built a strong reputation in the community.  

In the summer of 2005, Karen launched her own firm and is in high demand for private consultations.  Clients value her strong sense of colour and aesthetics as well as her appreciation for the realities of life.  She puts herself in her clients’ shoes and proposes designs for how they truly live.
